0x7B: Acer Aspire 4710 --

Computer Problem [Acer Aspire 4710]:

Windows failed to boot, caused by Blue Screen Of Death (BSOD)  0x7B (hdd not detected).

Cause:

  • Your laptop's BIOS have small problem, which is, BIOS setting cannot be retained. maybe due to internal battery (CMOS Battery) has drained compl. So untuk hindarkan BIOS setting lost, pastikan battery anda sentiasa charge.

      • Download Intel AHCI textbase driver
      • Change IDE to AHCI driver (install driver)
    • Kalau bios kembali ke revert pun xpe sebab dah guna AHCI.

  • Saya dah update BIOS anda dari versi 1.08 kepada 1.18 (hopefully masalah BIOS settle) – kalau x settle pun xpe cuma jam mungkin x berapa betul..

Ps: dengar cerita elaun masuk hari ni.. hahahah boleh charge lebey ning..

Time Used: 1 hour +/-

Black Background (No Wallpaper with nag – right bottom message)

(kalau nak windows ori call me @ email ok)
    • Saya dah updatekan untuk anda service pack dari SP2 kepada SP3
    • IE7 telah update ke IE8
    • FireFox yang terlampau tua tu dah update ke FireFox 12
    • Avira AntiVir dah tua juga, so Update to the newest version.
SIAP!!!

0x000000F4 BSOD Windows 7

Lots of Windows user face 0xF4 BSOD on many version of Windows, ie XP, Vista and even Windows 7. It has been reported over the internet that the main cause for this problem as follow;
  1. file corruption
  2. SecuROM related
  3. Hardware Error (HDD is the biggest blame)

I've try to find the solution on internet but did not found any easy solution. Even Microsoft Knowledge Base did not help much.

What we can try is ..

  1. Remove any Add-On Card, then Re-insert one card at a time.
  2. Check Memory for defect
  3. Check HDD for any files corruption, bad sector, so on

BSOD: 0x0000007B Error while installing WinXP on Acer Aspire M1640

While installing Windows XP SP2 on Acer Aspire M1640, I got a error message 0x0000007B. I do some search on the net and found this http://support.microsoft.com/kb/316401. I suggest that your all read this knowledge base.

On this M1640, Setup found the SATA drive, but cannot access it correctly. You have to use F6 to supply Setup the NVIDIA® MCP73U Chipset SATA driver. You can choose either to use floppy disk or use slipstream to inject the driver into WinXP Setup CD.

If you need the driver, please download it here. [nvidia_mcp73_sataraid_floppy_xp32_mb.zip]
